Heater box was modified to fit a Kenwood D-Din radio in the BMW 540i. The three factory dash trim pieces were molded into one to flow around the radio and painted satin black. Top clash pad was removed in order to install a 4 inch Boston center channel and an 8” Kenwood monitor in air bag cavity. Then the whole dash was stitched in black alcantera suede. Door panel pods were made to hold a set of Boston SP2 9 ½” components with the tweeter mounted in the factory locations. Pods were wrapped in suede and rear part has a stitch Sound Waves logo in the suede. Headliner, A, B, and C pillars were also wrapped in black suede and 2 8” Kenwood monitors motorize down behind each front seat. Rear deck lid was fabricated to hold another set of 6 ½ SP2 components to optimize the 5.1 experience provided by a Rockford Fosgate 360. On the left and right side of the trunk two 1 ft3 boxes were bolted to the deck lid and house the SPG woofers. A motorized amp rack was made and 2 Boston Acoustic amps were mounted. The whole unit was bolted in between the sub boxes and the amps slide out a full 19” from the suede wrapped trim panel. Two side panels were made off the sub panel and hold the 4 SP2 crossovers. Panels were sueded and a painted accent piece trims out the crossovers. The factory trunk lid carpet was modified for a 15” Farenheight monitor and the whole piece was painted Satin Black.
